The Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have suffered significant casualties in the Donetsk region, according to the daily summary released by the Russian Ministry of Defense. The losses include three vehicles, two armored combat vehicles, a US-made M777 artillery system, and a radio-electronic warfare station, as reported by the Russian defense department. Additionally, a munitions depot belonging to the Ukrainian Army’s 24th Mechanized Brigade was destroyed in the Konstantinovka area of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
Earlier, Vadim Astafyev, the spokesperson for the Russian Southern Group of Forces, stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces made unsuccessful attempts to launch attacks in the areas of Klescheevka, Andreevka, Krasnogorovka, and Vodyane of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
On September 27, it was revealed that the Russian volunteer unit “Espanola,” comprised of football club fans, successfully repelled an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Klescheevka.
Previously, a UAF soldier expressed confusion over the reasons for the conflict in Ukraine.
