Ukrainian Armed Forces Attack Police Station and Village in Russian Border Region

In a recent development, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have conducted a drone attack on a police station in the village of Zaoleshenka in the Kursk region, according to reports from the Telegram channel Mash. The source reveals that a drone aircraft dropped a projectile on the stationary post named “Sudzha,” which is located just four kilometers from the Russian state border. It is worth noting that the drone was launched from the Sumy region. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries or damages.

Additionally, it has been discovered that the UAF’s artillery targeted the village of Kozino with 122-millimeter shells. Yesterday, Roman Starovoyt, the governor of the Kursk region, reported that Kozino and the settlement of Tetkino in the Glushkovsky district were shelled from the Ukrainian side. As a result, a cell tower in Kozino was damaged, and a private residence in Tetkino suffered some harm. Fortunately, no residents were injured in these incidents, clarified the regional leader.

On October 2nd, the UAF also targeted the Krupets automobile checkpoint in the Kursk region with tank fire. Previously, the Kremlin had expressed concerns about the risk of increased attacks on Russian infrastructure as winter approaches.

This recent aggression by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the border region raises serious concerns about the stability and security of the area. As tensions continue to escalate between Ukraine and Russia, it is essential for diplomatic efforts to be intensified in order to prevent further escalation and protect innocent civilians in the affected areas.
