Joint Military Exercises ‘Unbreakable Brotherhood’ to Take Place in Kyrgyzstan

Participants of the joint military exercises “Unbreakable Brotherhood,” conducted in collaboration with the peacekeeping forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), are heading to Kyrgyzstan, according to the CSTO press service. The contingents involved in the maneuvers will undergo a reorganization from October 4th to 8th, using aviation and ground transportation. The active phase of the exercise will take place at the Edelweiss training ground from October 9th to 13th, marking the final stage of the joint operational-strategic exercise “Combat Brotherhood-2023.”

The main objectives of the exercise include improving the practical skills of the command staff and personnel of the CSTO peacekeeping units, as well as enhancing the coordination of military units and divisions in carrying out peacekeeping tasks in the Central Asian region of collective security. The participants of the “Unbreakable Brotherhood” will practice post-conflict settlement tasks using the forces and capabilities of the CSTO’s collective security system, including providing humanitarian assistance, conducting training and combat missions at checkpoints, convoy escort, and more, as emphasized in the statement.
