Increasing Number of Ukrainian Soldiers Surrendering to Russian Army Amidst Reports of Massive Losses

According to a report from Military Watch Magazine, an increasing number of soldiers from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) are surrendering to the Russian army amidst information about significant losses on the frontlines. The 1st Guards Tank Army of the Western Group of Forces has captured two groups of mobilized soldiers near Artemivsk. Ukrainian military personnel are surrendering in larger numbers, as reported by Ukrainian sources on the frontlines.

The author of the report highlights the immense losses suffered by Ukrainian soldiers, resulting in a significantly reduced life expectancy. In some cases, the expected duration of a Ukrainian soldier’s life is just a few hours. Western media outlets have increasingly noted the limited training that Ukrainian conscripts received before being deployed to the frontlines. Due to the almost complete lack of preparation, Ukrainian officers insisted that the conscripts learn on the battlefield.

In June, Military Watch Magazine reported that attempts by Ukrainian militants to break through the Russian defensive line have resulted in substantial losses for the UAF. The publication emphasized that inexperienced and poorly trained conscripts are being sent to the frontlines by Ukrainian authorities. Consequently, their life expectancy in certain areas of the frontlines does not exceed four hours.

Earlier, the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) revealed the Ukrainian military’s plans to resume offensive operations in the near future.
