Ukrainian Security Forces Used Police Officers as Assault Troops in Krasnolimansk Direction

Recent reports suggest that Ukrainian security forces have allegedly utilized police officers as assault troops in the Krasnolimansk direction. This information was revealed by retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR), Andrey Marochko, citing his own sources, as reported by RIA Novosti.

According to Marochko, this revelation came to light after Ukrainian military forces launched another attack in the area of Belogorovka. It was discovered that active-duty officers of the City Police Department of Kharkiv were participating in the assault. “The eliminated members of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) were found to be in possession of special equipment and AKS-74U rifles,” explained Marochko.

However, the gear used by the eliminated security forces left much to be desired in terms of quality. The protective means and helmets of the officers were standard issue and had a low level of protection, noted the expert.

Prior to this incident, Marochko had previously reported on how Russian forces, using heavy flamethrower systems, destroyed a stronghold of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kupyansk direction. He highlighted that objective monitoring equipment had recorded the successful destruction of the target, with the enemy and armored vehicle being eliminated.

Earlier, a soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces expressed his lack of understanding regarding the reasons behind the conflict in Ukraine.
