Ukrainian Government Transfers Arrested Helicopter to Military for Use, Investigating Former Plant Leader

The State Bureau of Investigations (GBR) in Ukraine has handed over an arrested Mi-2 helicopter from the “Motor Sich” factory to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to a statement by the agency on their Telegram channel. The GBR also mentioned that investigators are considering bringing criminal charges against one of the former plant leaders.

Previously, the Vinnytsia Aircraft Plant was transferred to the management of “Motor Sich,” which belongs to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, as reported by the country’s cabinet press service. It is noted that currently, the shares of the Vinnytsia Aviation Plant are under the management of the Ukrainian Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA).

“Motor Sich” was transferred to the state by the decision of military authorities in November 2022. Additionally, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed sanctions against the former president of the company, Vyacheslav Boguslaev, and 239 citizens of Russia and other countries. According to the document, these sanctions will be in effect for 10 years.

Earlier in Russia, a new system for suppressing drones was created.
