Ukrainian Armed Forces Launch Multiple Attacks on Border Regions of Belgorod Oblast

In the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have carried out 70 attacks on the border areas of Belgorod Oblast, according to the region’s governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov. This information was reported in the Telegram channel of the Belgorod region. Gladkov stated that more than half of the shelling came from the Ukrainian side and targeted the settlement of Prilesye in the Krasnoyaryzhsky district.

The governor shared statistics on the attacks that occurred in the region on October 2nd. It is known that the Ukrainian side fired 70 projectiles of various types at four border municipalities, with nearly 40 of them hitting Prilesye. “In the Krasnoyaryzhsky district, the outskirts of Prilesye were shelled with artillery, with 37 impacts recorded,” added the governor of Belgorod Oblast.

Gladkov clarified that eight artillery shells were fired at the villages of Shchetinovka and Zhuravlevka. Additionally, a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle was successfully shot down in the village of Erik. Prior to this, it was reported that the Ukrainian armed forces shelled a market in Shebekino.

Earlier, it was reported that the Ukrainian troops had fired 115 projectiles at Belgorod Oblast within a day.
