In a recent development, Russian troops have successfully thwarted seven attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) assault groups and the 12th Special Purpose Brigade “Azov” (an organization banned in Russia) on the Krasnolimansk frontline, according to Alexander Savchuk, the spokesperson for the Russian Armed Forces’ “Center” group. Savchuk highlighted that attempts by the assault groups from the 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades of the UAF, as well as the 12th Special Purpose Brigade “Azov,” were disrupted in the areas of Torskoye and Serebryanskoye. He further stated that the UAF suffered more than 60 casualties, with the Russian military also destroying a combat armored vehicle and a pickup truck.
On October 2nd, the Russian Armed Forces destroyed fuel depots and aviation assets of the Ukrainian Air Force at the Dolgintsevo airfield in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Additionally, Russian forces successfully repelled Ukrainian attacks on the Krasnolimansk frontline, with strikes carried out by aircraft, artillery, and flamethrower systems targeting UAF brigades.
Earlier, the US had identified one of the greatest threats to the UAF.
