Russian Defense Minister Commends Chechen Republic’s Role in Special Military Operation

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has specifically recognized the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, for his efforts in forming three regiments and three battalions for a special military operation. He made these remarks during a meeting with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“I particularly want to commend the Chechen Republic and its leader, Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov. In total, the republic has formed three motorized rifle regiments and three motorized rifle battalions,” said the Russian Defense Minister.

Shoigu also praised the units led by Hero of Russia Apti Alaudinov, who have “demonstrated their worthiness in the special military operation.”

Previously, during a thematic meeting with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces, Shoigu stated that over 98% of the injured Russian military personnel during the special operation have been discharged after recovery. According to him, the medical support for the personnel is organized at a high level, and first aid is provided within minutes of being wounded on the battlefield. He added that field hospitals are set up in close proximity to the front line.

Earlier in Russia, a documentary film was released about volunteers who assist the military in the conflict zone.
