Russian military forces successfully repelled an offensive by eight Ukrainian army units in the South Donbass direction. According to Chekhov, seven Ukrainian units launched attacks in the vicinity of the settlement of Priyutne, while another group was observed moving towards the village of Novomykhailivka. During the clashes, they were able to strike a temporary deployment point of the 128th territorial defense brigade near the settlement of Staromayorsk. Additionally, Russian military personnel destroyed a storage facility of Ukrainian Armed Forces ammunition and a pickup truck carrying members of the 78th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian army. This operation took place in the area near Novomykhailivka. The spokesperson mentioned that the attack was carried out using the heavy flamethrower system “Solntsepek,” which effectively neutralized the ammunition depot and troop concentration. Furthermore, in a counter-battery confrontation, Ukrainian forces lost one self-propelled howitzer, the “Msta-B,” and one FH70 artillery piece. Russian soldiers also disabled one D-20 artillery gun and neutralized four mortar crews, as reported by the spokesperson. Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense released footage showing the destruction of Ukrainian military personnel in the Zaporizhia direction.
