The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced the destruction of 45 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). The ministry made this statement to journalists, highlighting the success of their air defense systems in intercepting two HIMARS rocket artillery projectiles and two tactical missiles of the UAF.
Previously, it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces were able to repel ten assault attacks from the UAF in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The Ukrainian forces attempted these attacks using the 3rd Assault Brigade and the 118th Territorial Defense Brigade. The attacks took place in the areas of Andreevka, Klescheevka, Krasnogorovka, and Kurdyumovka, according to the ministry.
Additionally, it was reported that Russian forces on the Southern Donetsk direction were able to eliminate over 120 Ukrainian servicemen and repel two more UAF attacks. During the hostilities, the Russian military destroyed an American M777 howitzer.
In the Southern Donetsk direction, units of the “Vostok” task force inflicted significant damage on the assault units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of the town of Nikolskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Earlier, the Kremlin assessed the risk of intensified attacks on Russian infrastructure by winter.
