Russian forces have reportedly captured two groups of mobilized soldiers from the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Artemivsk, according to a source cited by RIA Novosti. The soldiers belonged to the 77th Airborne and 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigades of the Ukrainian military. This comes after the Russian troops successfully defended against six attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Avdiivka, Artemivsk, and Lysychansk, as stated by Georgiy Minesashvili, the head of the press center for the Southern Grouping. He also mentioned that Ukrainian personnel and military equipment were targeted in 20 different areas.
On September 23, Minesashvili reported that Russian heavy flamethrower systems, known as “Solntsepek,” had struck Ukrainian forces in Donetsk. The attacks allegedly took place in Krasnohorivka, Kleschevka, and Malo-Illynivka. Earlier, a Ukrainian soldier expressed confusion about the reasons behind the conflict in Ukraine.
