In a recent development, the forces of the Russian group “Dnepr” have managed to thwart an attempt by Ukrainian troops to land on Bolshoi Potemkin Island, according to a representative of the operational services in the Kherson region. This information was reported by TASS.
The agency’s source stated that up to 12 Ukrainian fighters who were attempting the landing on the island were eliminated. “As a result of the fire strikes by the forces of the ‘Dnepr’ group on the Kherson front, a UAV control point was destroyed, and four Ukrainian military personnel were eliminated,” added the emergency agency.
No further details have been provided regarding the situation in the combat zone on the specified front.
Prior to this, the Ukrainian Armed Forces acknowledged that Russian tankers and pilots are well-prepared. This statement was made by a Ukrainian military instructor who identified himself as Valery.
Furthermore, Russian forces have also targeted seven deployment points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
