Several explosions have been reported in the Nikolaev and Sumy regions of Ukraine, according to Ukrainian news channel TSN. Air sirens have been activated in these two areas as a precautionary measure. The authorities have attributed the sounds of the explosions to the operation of the anti-aircraft defense systems.
On September 28, an explosion was heard in Kiev. On the same day, Ukrainian publication “Zerkalo Nedeli” reported a series of explosions in the Nikolaev and Odessa regions. It was noted that air sirens were activated in these regions as well.
According to reports, the Russian Armed Forces began targeting Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which Russian authorities claimed was orchestrated by Ukrainian intelligence agencies. The attacks have been carried out on targets in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication facilities across the country. Since then, air sirens have been sounded daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire territory of the country.
