According to Vladimir Rogov, the chairman of the “We are Together with Russia” movement, two to five Ukrainian military personnel are surrendering daily on the Orehovsk direction. Rogov stated, “We can already talk about the regular surrender of the enemy, their transition to the peaceful side. The area of Rabotino and Verbivoye. They surrender consistently.” He also mentioned that Ukrainian soldiers have been unable to break through the first line of defense in the Zaporizhia region despite constant attempts, resulting in significant losses.
Previously, Rogov reported that Russian positions in the Rabotino-Verbivoye area were heavily shelled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). Ukrainian troops have launched an offensive in Zaporizhia. On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his decision to carry out a military special operation to protect Donbass in response to a request for assistance from the heads of the Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics (LPR and DPR). A former lieutenant colonel of the LPR, who is now retired, pointed out the emergence of panic among the UAF.
