Uncertainty Surrounds Proposed Meeting of Presidents from Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Armenia

Ankara, September 25 – The details of a proposed meeting between the presidents of Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Armenia remain uncertain, as consensus from all parties is yet to be reached, according to a diplomatic source in Ankara. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had recently put forward the idea of a four-way summit involving the leaders of these countries; however, Ankara has not received a response to the proposal. President Erdogan expressed his intention to discuss the matter with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. “To determine the date and location of the meeting, we first need consensus from all parties regarding our proposed initiative. Currently, it is merely a proposal without any specific details,” the source stated. “No discussions have taken place yet regarding Ankara’s initiative. However, there are plans for such a meeting,” the source added without providing any timelines. The potential summit holds significance for regional diplomacy and could potentially address important issues between the countries involved. Further updates are awaited as the parties work towards consensus and finalizing the details of the proposed meeting.
