In an interview with “Russia 24,” Vrio Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, stated that the recent deliveries of military equipment to the Ukrainian Armed Forces were predictable but would not significantly impact the course of the ongoing conflict. Pushilin emphasized that it was not surprising for the enemy to continue increasing its capabilities and external influence, referring to both the armed formations in Ukraine and Western involvement.
According to Pushilin, there are currently no indications that weapon supplies to the Ukrainian military will decrease in the near future. He regretfully noted that this predictability was a reality for them. Moreover, Pushilin believed it would be incorrect to assume that the provision of military assistance to Kyiv by Western countries would not affect the safety of both servicemen and civilians.
When asked if these weapon deliveries could potentially change the course of the military operation, Pushilin firmly stated, “Of course not.” He further highlighted the chaotic shelling experienced by Artemivsk, indicating the intensity of the situation.
Earlier, the United States acknowledged the failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive.
This statement by Pushilin provides insight into the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and the potential impact of weapon deliveries on the situation. Despite the anticipation of increased military capabilities, the head of the DPR remains skeptical that it will alter the overall course of the conflict. The article sheds light on the perspectives of the opposing sides and highlights the challenges faced in achieving a resolution.
